The spotted lanternfly is another concern, with egg masses that resemble mud smears on hard surfaces. These pests pose risks to crops like grapes. Eliminate them by sealing egg masses in bags with alcohol or freezing them, and report the sighting to local authorities.
Wreaths and other natural decor items may contain invasive plants, such as English ivy or bittersweet. Avoid using these plants to prevent accidental spread. Proper disposal of these materials is essential to protect local habitats.
