Each year, thousands of Pennsylvania farmers grow corn and soybeans, and they now have the opportunity to showcase their efforts through statewide competitions.
The Pennsylvania Corn and Soybean Boards are inviting all eligible producers to take part in the annual Corn and Soybean Contests.
PA Corn Contest
Farmers interested in entering the Pennsylvania Corn Contest can find full details and the registration form on the PA Corn Growers Facebook page. Alternatively, participants can request a form by emailing mkrone@pa.net.
The contest entry fee is $40, and payment should be made via check payable to Pennsylvania Corn Growers Association. All entries and payments must be sent to:

- Entries must be postmarked by August 14, 2025, to be considered.
PA Soybean Contest
Any farmer growing five or more acres of soybeans in Pennsylvania is eligible to participate. The state is divided into five regions, and awards will be given to the overall top producer as well as the highest yield in each region. There is no entry fee for this contest.
Full contest details and registration information are available on the Pennsylvania Soybean Board website. Entries are due by September 1, and a separate harvest report must be submitted by November 15.
