Pennsylvania's agricultural extravaganza, the Farm Show, returns January 6-13 with the theme "Connecting Our Communities." Agriculture Secretary Redding calls it a vibrant tapestry of food, fuel, and fiber, weaving together those who grow it with those who enjoy it.
Think state fair meets high-tech agriculture. Expect the familiar sights and smells: adorable piglets, barn-stomping tractor square dancing, and indulgent fried treats. But the Farm Show goes deeper, showcasing innovative equipment and celebrating the vital role agriculture plays in our lives.
Don't miss classics like the 1,000-pound butter sculpture, the bustling food court, and crowd-pleasing competitions like bunny hops and sheep shearing. The Farm Show promises eight days of sensory overload, connecting hearts and stomachs to the beating pulse of Pennsylvania agriculture.
