The Agriculture Conservation Assistance Program (ACAP) Ag Conservation Keystone Training is a multi-day pilot program scheduled for October 2024.
This training will be a prerequisite for obtaining the Agricultural Conservation Professional training certification and will also be part of the county training requirements for ACAP delegation agreements.
The training covers essential topics such as agricultural literacy, resource concern identification, agricultural best management practices, technical assistance skills, conservation practice implementation, and combined funding strategies.
Registration is limited for the training courses, which will be held at Penn State University Park, Hazleton, and Beaver. Participants must register by September 29, October 6, and October 20, respectively.
The training includes lunch each day and provides an opportunity for participants to enhance their knowledge and provide feedback for future improvements.
