Pennsylvania's premier outdoor agricultural exhibition, Ag Progress Days, is set to captivate equine enthusiasts with a dynamic lineup of events.
From August 13-15, visitors to Pennsylvania Furnace will be treated to a spectacular showcase of equine talent and expertise.
The event promises a diverse array of activities, catering to horse lovers of all ages. Paso Finos will exhibit their distinctive high-stepping gait, while powerful draft horses will demonstrate their strength in logging operations. Percheron hitches, 4-H demonstrations, and equine pasture management seminars will offer valuable insights for horse owners.
A highlight of the event is the "Connect with Your Horse" demonstration by Gail and Richard Eichelberger. Through interactive sessions, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of equine behavior and the importance of building a strong bond with their horses.
For young horse enthusiasts, the Capital Area Therapeutic Riding Association (CATRA) Youth Ambassadors will host the ever-popular miniature horse jumping derby. Additionally, Penn State Extension’s 4-H Team Horse Power will showcase horsemanship skills and safety demonstrations.
Whether you're a seasoned horse owner or simply appreciate equine beauty, Ag Progress Days offers an unforgettable experience.
