Penn State Extension is hosting an in-person workshop on February 11, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM at their Westmoreland County location in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

This workshop is designed specifically for dairy farmers who are looking to improve milk quality and increase farm profitability.

The workshop will focus on practical strategies that dairy farmers can implement to enhance their operations. Participants will learn best practices for milking, effective methods for detecting mastitis, and proper techniques for milk sampling.

The program will also highlight the importance of utilizing data and farm metrics to improve milk quality and reduce the risk of mastitis.

Whether you are a dairy farm owner, employee, or milker, this workshop will provide valuable insights into optimizing milk production.

Dairy experts from Penn State Extension will lead the event, offering hands-on guidance and expert advice on improving management practices and identifying common issues that affect milk quality.

Additionally, the workshop will cover ways to use herd records to make informed, profitable decisions for your farm.

Lunch is included for all attendees, providing an opportunity for networking and discussion with other dairy professionals. The registration deadline is February 10, 2025, at 11:59 PM, so be sure to sign up before the cutoff.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn from industry experts and take away actionable strategies that can lead to improved milk quality and better farm performance.
