On Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 12:00 to 4:30 p.m. (ET), Penn State Extension will present its fourth annual Solar Law Symposium in a virtual format.

This event is co-sponsored by Penn State Extension, the Center for Energy Law and Policy, and the Center for Agricultural and Shale Law. It is specifically designed for attorneys and energy professionals who are either new to or have some experience with solar law.

The symposium will feature a comprehensive exploration of grid-scale solar development, advancements in photovoltaic electricity production, and significant Penn State research on the impacts of solar energy projects on rural communities.

Among the highlights of the event, Center Staff Attorney Brook Duer will co-present a session focusing on Penn State’s research findings regarding the effects of solar development in rural areas.

Participants will earn four hours of Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits. Registration for the symposium is available with CLE credits for $119 or without credits for $69.

This event promises to provide valuable insights and updates on solar law, making it an essential opportunity for professionals in the field. Reserve your spot today to be part of this informative symposium.
