The Pennsylvania Farm Bureau (PFB) will host its annual State Legislative Conference on Tuesday, April 8, at 12:00 p.m. in the Lancaster Room at the Hilton Harrisburg.

This event serves as a crucial platform for PFB members and state officials to discuss key agricultural issues affecting Pennsylvania.

Governor Josh Shapiro will deliver the keynote address during the Legislative Conference Luncheon, highlighting the state’s commitment to supporting the agricultural sector.

PFB President Chris Hoffman will also share insights on the most pressing challenges facing farmers across the Commonwealth.

Other notable speakers include Pennsylvania Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding, Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski, who chairs the House Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, Rep. Dan Moul, the House Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee’s Minority Chair, and Senator Judy Schwank, Minority Chair of the Senate Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee.

With agriculture playing a vital role in daily life, this event emphasizes the importance of fostering strong relationships between farmers and policymakers. PFB’s bipartisan approach ensures legislators from both parties collaborate to advance the industry.

The conference provides a unique opportunity for industry leaders and lawmakers to engage in meaningful discussions, driving forward policies that support Pennsylvania’s farming communities.
