Farmers and agricultural professionals will have the opportunity to learn about organic crop production during an Organic Field Crop Twilight Meeting on September 10, 2026, at Craig High Farm in Danville, Pennsylvania.
Scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the event is designed to encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and networking among individuals interested in organic farming.
The program will feature a guided tour of a local organic farming operation, providing participants with firsthand exposure to successful organic field crop management practices.
Attendees will have the chance to discuss production strategies, exchange ideas, and learn from the experiences of fellow farmers and industry professionals.
The event is geared toward both established organic producers and farmers considering a transition to organic agriculture.
Topics will include best management practices for organic field crops, strategies for successfully transitioning to organic production, current research and advancements in the organic sector, and practical solutions to common farming challenges.
Organizers hope the meeting will help strengthen connections within the farming community while supporting sustainable agriculture practices across the region. Participation is open to all farmers, and organic certification is not required to attend.
The event is free of charge, but space is limited. Farmers are encouraged to register in advance before the program begins on September 10.
