Free Webinar on Teat Scrubber Tech for Dairy Farmers

Free Webinar on Teat Scrubber Tech for Dairy Farmers

By Blake Jackson

Dairy farmers and industry professionals have an opportunity to learn about innovative milking technology during a free webinar hosted by Penn State Extension on March 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET.

The session will focus on the Teat Scrubber Udder Prep System, comparing it with traditional milking methods to highlight its impact on milk quality and udder health.

Dr. Adrian Barragan, Associate Research Professor and Extension Veterinarian at Penn State, will lead the discussion, providing insights into how this technology compares to conventional low-tech milking equipment.

Two Pennsylvania dairy producers will also share their firsthand experiences using the system over several years, offering practical knowledge on its benefits and effectiveness.

The webinar is designed for dairy farmers, milkers, farmworkers, and students involved in dairy science programs, including those in college, high school, and FFA chapters.

Attendees will gain valuable knowledge on the differences between milking routines, the effectiveness of teat scrubber systems, and their impact on farm operations.

This one-hour session is free to attend, but registration closes at 11:00 AM on March 25, 2025. Dairy professionals interested in improving efficiency and milk quality should not miss this opportunity to hear from experts and experienced farmers.
