AgConnect, a program of the Chester County Economic Development Council in collaboration with the County of Chester, has launched a new “As Seen in the Chester County Farm Guide” endorsement stamp.
The initiative aims to make it easier for consumers to identify and support local farms and agricultural businesses featured in the annual Chester County Farm Guide.
The “As Seen In” stamp celebrates the wide variety of farms, farmers markets, retail shops, and on-farm markets included in the guide. Participating producers can display the emblem on social media, packaging, marketing materials, and market signage to proudly show their inclusion in this trusted community resource.
“The Chester County Farm Guide is a valued connection between our community and local agriculture, featuring more than 125 farms and markets,” said Jordan Peek, Product Manager for AgConnect. “This new stamp reinforces that connection, giving farms and markets a recognizable emblem that signals freshness, quality, and local commitment.”
Published each year, the Chester County Farm Guide highlights over 125 farms and markets, along with seasonal product calendars, recipes, and local stories. The introduction of the new stamp extends the guide’s influence, offering a visible mark of authenticity and trust throughout the local food network.
Residents are encouraged to look for the “As Seen in the Chester County Farm Guide” stamp when shopping at farmers markets, retail outlets, or local farms. Farms interested in being featured or joining the program can contact AgConnect at agconnect@chesco.org.
