Pennsylvania dairy farm families, are you looking to enhance profitability, navigate a smooth transition, or explore bold transformations? Look no further than the Center for Dairy Excellence's On-Farm Team Grant Program! This program offers limited grants on a first-come, first-served basis to Pennsylvania dairy farms with 35 cows or more, helping them tackle their goals with trusted advisors by their side.
"Whether you're seeking financial savvy or generational harmony, a team approach can empower your decision-making," says Melissa Anderson, the Program's Manager. "We still have grants available, so don't miss this chance to kickstart your 2024 goals!"
Three Grant Options to Fit Your Needs:
Dairy Profit Teams: Gain a broad-based approach to boosting herd and business profitability. Farms receive up to $1,500 in reimbursements for team members and research costs.
"A sounding board with a positive ROI," raves Chad Fox of Fox Meadows Farm. "Fresh eyes and innovative suggestions propelled our operational improvements."
Dairy Transition Teams: Ease the complexities of succession, restructuring, or partnerships. This grant provides up to $3,500 for team formation, research, and even legal expenses.
"Without it, we wouldn't be here," admits Kerry Zeiset. "The grant sparked crucial conversations and offered invaluable third-party guidance."
Dairy Transformation Teams: Modernize your facilities or embark on a bold business transformation. Secure up to $3,500 to build a team and navigate your ambitious plans. (Manure storage upgrades are not eligible.)
"It jumpstarted everything!" exclaims Donny Bartch of Merrimart Farms. "The grant helped us refine our robotics project and gave me the confidence to make it a reality."
Build your on-farm team with your most trusted advisors and a designated facilitator who keeps things organized. The Center collaborates with Penn State Extension, University of Pennsylvania, and industry experts to provide comprehensive support.
