Register Early for PAES 2026 Agronomy Conference

Register Early for PAES 2026 Agronomy Conference

By Blake Jackson

The Pennsylvania Agronomic Education Conference (PAES) will take place Thursday, January 22, and Friday, January 23, 2026, at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania. This 1½-day event offers agronomic learning, professional development, and networking opportunities for agricultural professionals.

Participants can earn continuing education credits, including Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) CEUs, Act 38 Nutrient Management CECs, and pesticide applicator credits (Core and Category). CCA credits are available in crop management, pest management, soil and water management, and nutrient management.

The conference features leading experts and industry representatives from across the Mid-Atlantic region. Highlights include a panel discussion with Dean Troy Ott from Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Acting Deputy Secretary Chris Davis from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, Dr. Greg Roth’s “30 Years of Corn,” and sessions on high oleic soybeans, wheat quality, and farm stress.

Pennsylvania State Climatologist Kyle Imhoff will present a weather update, and an interactive session, “Top 10 Agronomic Topics,” will feature Penn State Agronomy Extension Specialists. Additional breakouts will cover diseases, biologics, injection and dribble bar technologies, off-label pesticide use, water quality, grass-grass double crops, precision agriculture, compaction, resistant weeds, and wheat quality.

Registration uses a single online form for individuals and sponsors. Once submitted, an invoice will be sent via the PennAg QuickBooks system, which can be paid online or by mail. The registration fee increases after January 9, 2026, so early registration is encouraged.

A room block is available at the Wyndham Garden Hotel using code 011426AGRO. For questions, contact Jennifer Reed-Harry at jrharry@pennag.com.
