The 2026 Pennsylvania Farm Show concluded on Saturday, January 17, wrapping up eight days of events, exhibits, and celebrations that highlighted the people and programs driving Pennsylvania’s $132.5 billion agriculture industry.

The event showcased collaboration between farmers, producers, consumers, and Governor Josh Shapiro’s Administration, all working together to strengthen the future of agriculture in the Commonwealth and across the nation.

Known as Pennsylvania’s State Fair, the 2026 Farm Show also marked the start of America250PA celebrations, recognizing Pennsylvania’s historic role in the nation’s founding and its continued importance to America’s future. The annual event connects those who produce food, fiber, and fuel with the public, while providing funding, resources, and exposure to support agricultural success.

For the fourth time since 2023, Governor Josh Shapiro addressed more than 800 agriculture leaders and policymakers during the Public Officials Day luncheon. Governor Shapiro reaffirmed his Administration’s commitment to supporting Pennsylvania farmers and agricultural communities.

“Pennsylvania’s farmers today continue a proud legacy that stretches back centuries and do the noble work of feeding their neighbors,” said Governor Shapiro. “This year at the Farm Show, we came together to recognize that hard work and once acknowledge that our farmers and ag producers aren’t just part of our history they are key to our future growth and success here in Pennsylvania.”

Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding also met with agricultural leaders, government officials, and consumers throughout the event.

“During the 2026 Pennsylvania Farm Show we have celebrated Pennsylvanians in agriculture, honoring our past and investing in our future,” Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding said. “America began here in Pennsylvania, and our future is rooted in Pennsylvania agriculture in the care of the soil, our collective spirit of innovation, and our shared pursuit of progress. Together, we are ‘Growing A Nation.”

The Farm Show welcomed an estimated 500,000 visitors, including First Lady Lori Shapiro and officials from all levels of government. Key highlights included the announcement of a second round of funding for the Agriculture Innovation Grant Program, international trade engagement with delegations from 37 countries, recognition of Pennsylvania’s agricultural Centers for Excellence, and the designation of 11 Bicentennial and Century Farms honoring generations of farm families.
