Apply Now for 2025 AFA Leaders Conference

By Blake Jackson

Applications are now open for the 2025 Agriculture Future of America (AFA) Leaders Conference. This highly respected four-day event will take place from November 6 to 9, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri. It brings together college students from across the country to help them grow into future leaders of the agriculture industry.

The AFA Leaders Conference is designed to build professional skills, expand leadership potential, and connect students with peers and industry leaders. Participants attend workshops, panels, and networking sessions that focus on the future of agriculture and food systems. It’s a valuable opportunity for students to explore career options, connect with professionals, and gain confidence.

Students studying in the College of Agricultural Sciences are encouraged to apply. Partial travel support is available for those accepted, making it easier for participants to attend. For more information or support, students can contact the Office for Undergraduate Education.

The best part? Students selected to attend the AFA Leaders Conference will only need to cover their travel expenses. AFA’s industry partners generously cover all other costs, including hotel stays, meals, and materials.

The deadline to apply is September 7, 2025. With limited spaces and strong competition, early applications are encouraged.

This event is a strong stepping stone for students who want to play a role in shaping the future of agriculture. Whether you want to improve your communication skills, learn more about the industry, or grow your network, the AFA Leaders Conference provides a supportive and inspiring environment.

Don’t miss this chance to join hundreds of like-minded peers and make your mark in agriculture.
