2025 Dairy Survey Deadline Nears for Pennsylvania Producers

2025 Dairy Survey Deadline Nears for Pennsylvania Producers

By Blake Jackson

Time is running out for Pennsylvania dairy producers to participate in the 2025 Dairy Producer Survey, with a deadline of April 30, 2025.

The Center for Dairy Excellence and Penn State Extension are urging all dairy farm owners to complete the survey to provide crucial insights into how the evolving dairy industry impacts their operations.

“We want to hear from you. We know Pennsylvania’s dairy farm families work tirelessly to produce a fresh supply of dairy products in an ever-changing and increasingly more complex business environment, so your insight is important to help shape future grants and programming for dairy producers” said Valerie Mason-Faith, Risk Education Manager at the Center. “Join the 250 other producers who have already shared their thoughts. The survey takes just 15 minutes to complete, but the information provided through the survey is incredibly helpful in our future efforts to serve the farm community.”

The 2025 survey covers various aspects of dairy farm businesses, including demographics, marketing strategies, employee protocols, facility operations, future plans, investments, risk management practices, biosecurity measures, and adoption of climate-smart initiatives.

All responses will remain anonymous, ensuring confidentiality. Dairy producers can complete the survey online by visiting www.centerfordairyexcellence.org/2025-dairy-producer-survey.

Alternatively, they can download a printable version and mail it back to the Center for Dairy Excellence. For any inquiries regarding the survey, producers can contact Valerie Mason-Faith directly via email at vmason@centerfordairyexcellence.org or by phone at (717) 550-8720.

This is a vital opportunity for Pennsylvania dairy farmers to influence the development of future resources and programs tailored to their needs.
