ADAMS County, Judy A. Behney: Adams County had milder temperatures this week. Mostly in the 30's morning and daytime higher 40s. Some rain Saturday night into Sunday and continued most of day Sunday and into Monday. Producers were busy trying to get some more corn and soybeans harvested but still limited at mills by having to schedule to deliver since they are full. Still some corn and soybeans to be harvested but not too much. Producers readying their farming operations for the winter months. Reminder to apply to FSA office for 2019 Market Facilitation Program if you have not for tariff's payment by Dec. 6h.

ADAMS/FRANKLIN counties, Thomas Kerr: Cool weather and preparation for deer season slowed any harvest left to be done. Small grains are looking good.

CENTRE County, Dick A. Decker: Limited field work due to wet conditions and Thanksgiving holiday.

DAUPHIN/PERRY counties, Liz Bosak: Last week, some warm fall days helped to finish off most field activities but winter weather arrived in Dauphin and Perry counties over the holiday weekend.

JUNIATA/SNYDER counties, William C. Sheaffer: Chickweed and Henbit beginning to show up in spots in the winter grains and cover crop fields.

LANCASTER County, Christopher Burkhart: Harvest is basically finished and cover crops are planted. Harvest went very well this fall with most cover crops being planted in a timely fashion. Much better than fall 2018!
