The 2025 Pennsylvania Forage Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the Overton Village & Museum in Scottdale, PA. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the program starting at 8:30 a.m.
This conference offers an excellent opportunity for industry professionals, farmers, and agricultural enthusiasts to gather and learn from experts in the field.
The event will feature a variety of educational topics, including:
- Solar Leasing in PA by Dan Brockett from Penn State University
- Challenges in Grazing Under Solar Panels by Daniel Dotterer of Daniel Dotterer Farms and Metaglobal Technologies
- Silage: A Comprehensive Guide by Dr. Megan Smith of Lallemand Animal Nutrition
- Assessing Forage Quality from a Report by Cliff Ocker of Rock River Laboratory, Inc.
- Baling Quality Hay from Cutting to Storage by Jeff Roberts of Harvest Tec
Early-bird registration is available until February 1, with rates of $20 for members and $40 for nonmembers. After February 1 or for those registering at the door, prices increase to $30 for members and $50 for nonmembers.
