Pennsylvania dairy summit 2025 - plan your dairy future

By Blake Jackson

The Pennsylvania Dairy Summit is back on February 5-6, 2025, in State College, PA. This nationally recognized conference offers a unique opportunity to network, learn, and gain inspiration for the future of your dairy operation.

The theme, "Designing Your Tomorrow Today," emphasizes proactive planning and staying ahead of the curve.

Join over 300 attendees for keynote addresses, breakout sessions, and ample time to connect with colleagues. Affordable registration fees are available thanks to sponsor support.

Keynote Speaker: David Moser of Oakridge Dairy

David Moser, from the largest single-site dairy farm in the Northeast, will share his insights on "Farming for the Future in a World Where People Know Their Farmers." Moser will discuss his team's approach to innovation, focusing on small details and building strong consumer connections.

"At Oakridge Dairy, we believe that anything is possible. We are willing to try anything to make even the smallest detail better for our team and our animals. It starts with an idea. Someone has to take a step," Moser shared. "Only one step is needed to start the next greatest thing. My encouragement is to be that person. Take that one step today. You never know where it may lead."

Breakout Sessions for All Interests

The Summit offers four breakout session tracks designed to cater to a variety of dairy professionals:

  • Herd and Health: Learn about the causes of vaccine failure and strategies to boost herd health with Dr. Christopher Chase.
  • Feed, Forages and Energy: Join a panel discussion with dairy producers to explore the use of high-oleic soybeans in dairy rations.
  • People and Potential: Get legal insights from industry experts on topics like OSHA compliance, child labor laws, and immigrant worker regulations.
  • Outcomes and Opportunities: Gain a deeper understanding of carbon markets for dairy farms and explore potential opportunities in this evolving space.
