Penn State’s Center for Agricultural and Shale Law, in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Business Development Center (ABDC), will host a webinar on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. ET.
This session is part of the Understanding Agricultural Law Educational Series and focuses on “Understanding the Basics of Pennsylvania’s Seasonal Farm Labor Law.”
The webinar is designed for attorneys and business advisors who work with agricultural or rural clients but may not specialize in agricultural law. It aims to provide participants with essential knowledge and practical insights into seasonal farm labor regulations in Pennsylvania.
Attendees will gain guidance on compliance, legal obligations, and key considerations for managing seasonal farm employees. This session also supports the professional development of legal and business professionals who interact with the agricultural community.
One hour of substantive CLE credit is available at no cost for Pennsylvania-licensed attorneys. The webinar is entirely online, allowing participants to join remotely from anywhere.
For more details or to register, visit the Penn State Extension event page. This educational opportunity helps legal and business professionals enhance their understanding of agricultural labor law and serve their clients more effectively.
