Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding and Community and Economic Development Secretary Rick Siger have unveiled the theme for the 2025 Pennsylvania Farm Show, titled "Powering Pennsylvania."
This announcement was made at Oregon Dairy in Lititz, a family-owned agritourism destination that exemplifies the theme through its commitment to green energy production and local economic contributions.
"Agriculture powers Pennsylvania," said Secretary Redding. "We hope you'll join us in January to kick off your 2025 with people like Oregon Dairy's Hurst and Forry families, who power our families with nutritious food every day. Thousands of farm families join them in powering our economy, supporting 593,000 jobs and pouring more than $132.5 billion into our communities every year; and increasingly producing green energy that literally keeps lights on and businesses running."
The upcoming Farm Show aims to celebrate the vital role of agriculture in the state, highlighting not only traditional farming practices but also innovations in sustainability and community engagement.
The Shapiro Administration emphasizes its commitment to supporting Pennsylvania agriculture and recognizing the efforts of individuals who contribute to the state's economic vitality and leadership in the agricultural sector. The 2025 event promises to be a significant gathering for farmers, families, and communities across Pennsylvania.
