Tripp Crest Tops Field in 6-Horse Hitch Series Show

There was no shortage of horsepower in the Equine Arena as the North American Six Horse Hitch Classic Series (NASHHCS) held a national championship qualifying points show at the Keystone International Livestock Exposition (KILE) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

The hitch exhibited by Tripp Crest Farm of Harrison, Maine was awarded first place out of eleven competing hitches consisting of Percherons, Belgians, and Shires.

Each year, six horse hitches compete at shows across the country, accumulating points at Classic Series shows. At the end of the series, the four hitches with the most points from each breed compete at the NASHHCS Final Championship in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The results for the All Breed Classic Series Six Horse Hitch are:

First Place -- Tripp Crest Farm, Harrison, Maine.

Second Place -- Flat Rock Draft Horses, Bellevue, Ohio.

Third Place -- Brockwood Belgians, Dayton, Armstrong Co.

Fourth Place -- Oak Hall Farm, Boalsburg, Centre Co.
