PA Farm Show announces 2025 anthem performers

The Pennsylvania Farm Show has announced the winners of its 2025 national anthem contest, "Oh Say Can You Sing?", with nine-year-old Cadence Kline from Schuylkill County receiving the most votes. Cadence will have the honor of singing the national anthem to kick off the 109th PA Farm Show on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 8 a.m.

The 2025 Farm Show theme, "Powering Pennsylvania," celebrates the state's agricultural strength and its role in driving economic growth. "The 2025 Farm Show theme, Powering Pennsylvania, highlights the strength and vitality of our agriculture industry and its role in driving our state forward," said Secretary Redding. "Our reliance on agriculture and our pride in the ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ unite us, regardless of our differences. Cadence and talented singers from across Pennsylvania will set a tone of unity and pride in our heritage and our bright future together as we begin each day at the 2025 PA Farm Show."

The following individuals and groups will perform the national anthem during the PA Farm Show, starting on Friday, January 3:

  • Friday, January 3 at 5:30 p.m. – Hannah Weaver, York, York County (PA Preferred Reception)
  • Saturday, January 4 at 8 a.m. – Cadence Kline, Barnesville, Schuylkill County
  • Saturday, January 4 at 10 a.m. – Alona Buzey, Newmanstown, Lebanon County (Opening Ceremony)
  • Sunday, January 5 at 8 a.m. – Shellenberger Siblings, Mount Joy, Lancaster County
  • Monday, January 6 at 8 a.m. – East Stroudsburg North High School Chorus, East Stroudsburg, Pike County
  • Tuesday, January 7 at 8 a.m. – Biglerville High School Select Chorus, Biglerville, Adams County
  • Tuesday, January 7 at 10 a.m. – Alexandra "Ally" Bet, Barnesville, Schuylkill County (Junior Livestock Sale)
  • Wednesday, January 8 at 8 a.m. – Alyssa Horton, Robertson, Huntingdon County
  • Thursday, January 9 at 8 a.m. – Crystalyn Gureckis, York, York County
  • Thursday, January 9 at 1 p.m. – Brayden Cressman, Perkasie, Bucks County (Army-Navy Cookoff)
  • Friday, January 10 at 8 a.m. – Camp Hill High School RoaR, Camp Hill, Cumberland County
  • Saturday, January 11 at 8 a.m. – Penelope Shaw, Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County

The national anthem performances will be held each day in the Giant Expo Hall, contributing to the celebratory atmosphere at this year’s event.
