Experienced gardeners looking to refine their seed propagation skills are invited to attend the Seed Starting for the Advanced Gardener workshop.
This in-person session will take place on February 6, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adams County Ag & Natural Resource Center, located at 670 Old Harrisburg Rd, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania 17325.
Participants must register by February 3, 2025, no later than 11:59 p.m., as space is limited and preregistration is required.
This 90-minute workshop is designed for seasoned growers eager to expand their knowledge of seed propagation techniques. Attendees will learn how to start seeds indoors successfully, including tips for working with native plants, annual flowers, vegetables, trees, and shrubs.
The session will cover essential equipment and tools, as well as special treatments and soil mixes required for optimal growth.
With hands-on activities and expert guidance, participants will leave with the confidence to cultivate a wide variety of plants from seed.
