An exciting opportunity for agronomic crop growers is coming to Hanover, Pennsylvania, with a free in-person workshop focused on improving organic field crop operations.
The Organic Study Circles workshop, taking place on December 20, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at Hoss's Steak & Sea House, offers an open forum for farmers to discuss and exchange valuable insights and ideas to enhance their organic farming practices.
Farmers, whether certified organic or in the process of transitioning to organic practices, are encouraged to attend. The goal of the study circle is to provide a supportive environment for both experienced organic growers and those new to the organic farming sector.
Participants will have the chance to learn from one another and gain access to expert guidance on best management practices for organic farming.
The event is offered at no cost, and attendees will enjoy a lunch buffet funded by grants from the USDA Organic Agriculture Research Extension Initiative and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. To ensure the event runs smoothly, registration is required by December 17, 2024, at 11:59 PM.
This workshop promises to be an informative and valuable experience for anyone looking to expand their knowledge of organic farming and improve their operations. Registration is recommended to secure a spot at this beneficial event.
