Nominations are officially open for the 2026 ACAP Ag Conservation Con Awards, giving Pennsylvania’s conservation community an opportunity to recognize individuals, teams, and projects making a significant impact in agricultural conservation efforts across the state.
The awards will be presented during the ACAP Ag Conservation Conference banquet, scheduled for September 15-17 in Indiana County.
Organizers are encouraging conservation professionals, district staff, and partners to nominate those whose work has demonstrated leadership, innovation, and commitment to advancing conservation practices in agriculture.
The ACAP awards committee is seeking nominations for a variety of categories that highlight exceptional contributions throughout Pennsylvania. This year’s categories include Rookie of the Year, ACAP MVP Award, ACAP County Team Award, ACAP Partnership Award, Innovative ACAP Project Award, and Best ACAP Project Photo Award.
Unlike the other categories, the Best ACAP Project Photo Award will be selected through attendee voting during the conference.
All remaining entries will be reviewed by a selection panel using details provided in the nomination forms, and some submissions may also include field verification.
Support letters from farmers, colleagues, or project partners are optional but may help strengthen nominations by showcasing the nominee’s influence and achievements.
The nomination deadline is Monday, July 13, 2026, by the end of the day. For any questions, please contact Erin Trouba at ect5075@psu.edu.
