Working Dog Center Tours by UPenn Vet Medicine



See firsthand what it takes to train our nation’s leading detection dogs. Watch as the Working Dog Center staff explains the step-by-step process to preparing a dog to serve as in explosive detection, search & rescue, cancer detection, and more…

For those interested in becoming a volunteer or an intern, please stay for the volunteer information session immediately following the tour.

The next tour is Jan. 10 beginning at 10 a.m. and again at 11 a.m.

Limited spots available. No walk-ins please.

Tours are free of charge, but donations to the Center are greatly appreciated.

Weather permitting, the tour and demonstrations are primarily conducted outside. Please dress appropriately so that you may comfortably enjoy your time with us. All tour participants should wear long pants and flat, closed toe shoes.
