A two-day webinar designed to prepare individuals for the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture's private pesticide applicator certification exams will be held on March 17th and 18th, 2025. This online course, offered by Penn State Extension, provides essential knowledge for the safe and proper handling and use of pesticides.
The webinar will cover key concepts from the Pesticide Core and Supplemental Manual, equipping participants with the information needed to become certified private pesticide applicators.
This certification allows individuals to apply restricted-use pesticides on their own or their employer's property for agricultural production, including nurseries and greenhouses.
The webinar will run from 9:00 AM to 3:55 PM on March 17th and from 9:00 AM to 3:40 PM on March 18th via Zoom. Registration is required and costs $20.
Participants must obtain their own study materials, ensuring they have the updated second edition manuals from 2014.
This course provides a valuable opportunity for those seeking to become certified private pesticide applicators in Pennsylvania, offering comprehensive training and preparation for the certification exams.
