Penn State Extension is hosting an Agronomic Pesticide Update on March 1, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Columbia County Extension Office, located at 702 Sawmill Rd. #102, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania 17815. This in-person workshop offers essential recertification credits for private, commercial, and public pesticide applicators.
Participants must register by February 26, 2025, at 11:45 PM to secure a spot. The event provides an opportunity for applicators to earn two Core credits and two Category credits in Private Category (PC), Agronomic Crops (01), and Demonstration and Research (18).
Led by Penn State Extension experts, this two-hour session covers critical updates in pesticide regulations, safety practices, and application techniques.
The program is designed to help applicators stay compliant with industry standards while improving their knowledge of sustainable and responsible pesticide use.
This event is part of a broader effort by Penn State Extension to provide recertification opportunities at multiple locations across Pennsylvania. Additional training sessions can be found on the Pesticide Applicators Recertification website.
