The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture is now accepting proposals for $500,000 in PA Farm Bill Ag & Youth Grants. These grants are designed to support projects that prepare youth to succeed in Pennsylvania's $132.5 billion agriculture industry.
Eligible projects include agriculture career seminars and field trips, agricultural safety training, capital projects and equipment purchases. Past funded projects have also included programs that benefit youth or promote agriculture, community leadership, vocational training and peer networking.
Grants of up to $7,500 are available for direct funding, and grants of up to $25,000 are available for matching grants. Applicants must be youth-run organizations or organizations with programs that benefit youth.
Grant applications must be submitted online by 5 p.m. on September 29, 2023. The PA Farm Bill Ag & Youth Grants are a great way to support projects that are making a difference in the lives of young people and the future of Pennsylvania's agriculture industry.
