Farm show announces national anthem singers for 2024

The Pennsylvania Farm Show has revealed the talented singers who will perform the "Star-Spangled Banner" during the 2024 event, celebrating the theme "Connecting Our Communities."

Opening Ceremony:

Thea Sten, a 13-year-old from Schuylkill Haven, won the "Oh, Say Can You Sing?" contest and will sing the national anthem at the opening ceremony on January 6th, 2024, at 10 am.

Daily Performances:

Each morning at 8 am, a different singer will perform the national anthem at the GIANT Expo Hall. The lineup is as follows:

  • Sunday, January 7th: Gabriella Montero - Emmaus, Lehigh Co.
  • Monday, January 8th: Eagle Singers of Eagle View Middle School - Mechanicsburg, Cumberland Co.
  • Tuesday, January 9th: Camp Hill High School RoaR! Acapella Ensemble - Camp Hill, Cumberland Co.
  • Wednesday, January 10th: Sophie Strick - Reading, Berks Co.
  • Thursday, January 11th:
    • 8 am: Keith Weiser - Fleetwood, Berks Co.
    • 1 pm: Army-Navy Cookoff: Apalonia Passetti - Forty Fort, Luzerne Co.
  • Friday, January 12th: Landon Mak - York, York Co.
  • Saturday, January 13th: Adley Burke - Etters, York Co.

Additional Performances:

  • Friday, January 5th: 5:30 pm - PA Preferred® Reception: Savannah White, Carlisle, Cumberland Co.
  • Monday, January 8th: 9:30 am - Jr. Livestock Sale: Heather Norris, Camp Hill, Cumberland Co.

In addition to the national anthem performances, the 2024 Farm Show promises a return of popular attractions:

  • The iconic 1,000-pound butter sculpture
  • The Farm Show Food Court and Farm Market
  • Sheep shearing, weaving, and lumberjacking demonstrations
  • Cooking demonstrations at the PA Preferred® Culinary Connection
  • Over a million square feet of hands-on agricultural education exhibits

The 2024 Pennsylvania Farm Show will take place from January 6th to 13th, 2024, showcasing the vibrant agriculture industry and its contributions to the state.
