Expanded center will speed delivery to West Coast farms

Expanded center will speed delivery to West Coast farms

By Jamie Martin

AGCO, a worldwide leader in agricultural machinery and precision agriculture technology, has announced plans for a major expansion of its West Coast operations. The company will build a new Visalia Parts Distribution Center (PDC) to improve service for farmers in California and throughout the western United States.

The new facility, covering 115,000 square feet, will replace AGCO’s current Visalia site and will be located less than three miles away. Designed with advanced warehouse automation, expanded inventory capacity, and better forecasting systems, the center will enable faster delivery and higher fill rates for parts.

“California’s high-value crop farmers rely on precision equipment that runs long hours, often logging over 2,000 hours per year in demanding conditions,” said Jena Holtberg-Benge, AGCO Vice President of Aftersales and Parts. “By expanding our parts distribution capabilities in Visalia, we’re putting Farmers First – ensuring rapid access to critical components that keep machines running and on track during peak seasons.”

California’s agricultural sector depends on keeping machinery operational during intense planting and harvest schedules. By positioning the PDC in Visalia, AGCO can reach any dealer or farmer in the region within one day, reducing downtime and improving productivity.

The facility will support AGCO’s full range of brands, including the fast-growing Fendt® lineup in the United States. The improvements will help farmers secure high-demand parts more quickly, especially during critical times in the farming calendar.

The upgraded Visalia Parts Distribution Center is scheduled to open in late 2026. AGCO says the investment is part of its ongoing “Farmers First” approach, focusing on reliability, speed, and service for customers across the region.
