The Easton Farmers' Market, a cornerstone of the city's agricultural heritage, kicks off its 272nd season this Saturday, May 4th! This historic open-air market, known as America's longest running, opens at 9 am at Scott Park and boasts 43 regular vendors alongside 20 rotating guests until 1 pm.

Visitors can expect a delightful morning filled with fresh, local produce, handcrafted goods, and stunning riverfront views. Live music from Highest Bidder will add a festive touch to opening day festivities.

Special guests will also be present, including local dignitaries and keynote speaker Bryan McAtee of Minsi Mountain Flower Farm. Attendees can enter a prize drawing for $50 in Market Bucks to fuel their shopping spree.

"We're excited to showcase everything our 272nd season has to offer," says Easton Market district director Megan McBride. "This year promises an even more vibrant experience, fostering a celebration of local food, crafts, music, and community."

Easton Farmers' Market boasts a rich history dating back to the city's founding in 1752, making it a cherished tradition for generations.
