Dr. Alan McCauley of Ada, Ohio, will receive the Obie Snider Award at the All-American Dairy Show in Harrisburg.
The award recognizes exemplary service to the dairy industry and community. McCauley served five years as president of the Pennsylvania Allied and Industries Association, the volunteer board of directors that governs the All-American show, as well as many years of volunteering and participating as an exhibitor.
Loren and Helen Zimmerman of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, will receive the Image Award. This award recognizes notable contributions to the show's reputation, prestige, and welfare. Loren chairs the trade show committee and Helen serves on the decorating committee.
Allen Hess of Hagerstown, Maryland, will receive the Pioneer Award. This honor recognizes impact on the overall success of the previous year's show. Hess serves as the show's vice president and works on the show's needs year-round. All three awards will be presented during the Premier National Junior Show supreme champion pageant on Monday, September 18, at 4 p.m., at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center.
