The All-American Dairy Show is back in Pennsylvania, and this year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever. Thousands of dairy cattle and exhibitors from across the country will be showcased, starting with the Pennsylvania Junior National Show on Saturday and continuing through next Wednesday with the Supreme Champion Pageant.
Here are some highlights from this year's show:
• Dairy antiques and collectibles show: The annual All-Dairy Antiques and Collectibles show will be held in the Dairy Activity Center from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday through Wednesday, September 16-20. The show is the only known all-dairy antique show in the U.S., and features many high-quality, rare, and unusual items.
• Awards: The Obie Snider, Pioneer, and Image Awards will be presented during the show. The Obie Snider Award recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to the dairy industry and community. The Pioneer Award is presented to an individual who has had a significant impact on the All-American Dairy Show. The Image Award is presented to an individual who has enhanced the image of the show.
• Trade show: The popular trade show will operate each day of the show from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday through Tuesday, September 16-18, and from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19. The trade show features a variety of vendors selling dairy products, equipment, and services.
• Cattle shows: The week will feature a variety of cattle shows, including the Pennsylvania Junior Dairy Show, the Youth Showmanship Contest, the Invitational Youth Dairy Cattle Judging Contest, the Junior Dairy Management Contest, the Premier National Junior Event Supreme Champion Pageant, the Eastern National Fall Holstein Show, the Pennsylvania Fall Holstein Championship Show, and the All-American Dairy Show Supreme Champion Pageant.
The All-American Dairy Show is a great opportunity to learn about the dairy industry and see some of the best dairy cattle in the country. The show is also a celebration of the dairy industry and its importance to Pennsylvania.
