Penn State to Host Ag Sciences Involvement Fair for Students

By Blake Jackson

Penn State students interested in agriculture and related fields will have an opportunity to connect with campus organizations during the Ag Sciences Involvement Fair on Thursday, August 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A rain date has been scheduled for Thursday, September 3.

The event will take place in the open area between the ASI Greenhouses and the Berkey Creamery, where more than 40 student clubs, organizations, and competitive teams affiliated with the College of Agricultural Sciences will be available to meet attendees.

Students are encouraged to explore organizations that match their academic, professional, and personal interests while learning about leadership opportunities, networking, and campus involvement. Those already participating in a club can also stop by to support and promote their organization.

Visitors should check in at the Ag Sciences Undergraduate Education table, located beneath a canopy between the ASI Building and the greenhouses. Students who check in can collect event stickers and enter a drawing for a chance to win an Ag-themed swag bag.

Student organization officers and faculty advisors who wish to host a table must complete the registration form by August 25.

Registered groups will receive a confirmation email with additional event details. Questions about participation can be directed to the Office for Undergraduate Education at dah54@psu.edu or 814-865-7521.
