Dairy Summit Program to Strengthen Management
Pennsylvania Ag Connection - 08/21/2017

Mark your calendars for the 2018 Pennsylvania Dairy Summit, scheduled for Feb. 21 and 22, at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center in State College. The Professional Dairy Managers of Pennsylvania and Center for Dairy Excellence host this annual, one-of-a-kind dairy event offering education, networking and inspiration for dairy farmers in all types of production.

The Pennsylvania Dairy Summit is nationally recognized as one of the best conferences for dairy professionals, with more than 500 attendees each year. This summit will showcase several keynote speakers, discussion panels and breakout sessions. Some of the topics included in these sessions are transition management, robotics, producer diversification and leadership environments. The educational tracts programs will be back for this year's Summit; these programs cover topics based on "Around the Table", "At the Desk", "With the Cows" and "In the Fields". The results of the Pennsylvania Dairy Industry Study will also be discussed.

"The Pennsylvania Dairy Summit offers dairy producers the opportunity to get away from our day-to-day responsibilities and re-connect with others in the industry, while getting good information and insight we can take back to our farms," said Reid Hoover, chair of the 2018 Pennsylvania Dairy Summit.

More program details and sponsorship opportunities will be available in August. Registration information will be made available in November.
