The Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting nominations for the 2017 James P. Oliver Award. Forms are available through the chamber office at 217 East Baltimore Street, by calling (717) 597-4610, or by visiting the website at: http://bit.ly/2u3u16D.

Since 1992 the chamber has presented this award to honor business associates, who through their company, contributed personal time and service beyond normal community service. Any business owner, manager, or the recognized face that promotes and provides the extraordinary service to the community is eligible. The business must be physically located in the Greencastle-Antrim area. Past recipients of the James P. Oliver award receive the nominations from the Chamber and present a recommendation to the chamber for selection. A full listing of past recipients is listed on the Chamber's website.

The award will be presented at the Chamber Banquet on Sept. 21.

This is a prestigious award because it provides special recognition to a person, or couple, that exemplifies the unique and special qualities exhibited by James P. Oliver.This is also the means to continue to honor former recipients and express our ongoing appreciation" stated Executive Director Georgina Cranston.
