York and Adams Exhibitors Named Supreme in Open Show

The black-hided cattle exhibited by Samuel Parr, East Berlin, York Co., and Hudson Fleener, Gettysburg, Adams Co., were named Supreme Female and Bull, respectively, during the open beef show.

Beaver Creek SCAARA 687, Samuel Parr's March yearling Angus heifer, was named the Supreme Champion Female. Samuel Parr brought SCAARA to the show from East Berlin, York Co.

Hudson Fleener of Heart Felt Farms, Gettysburg, Adams Co., brought the winning bull, AHFF WF ROYAL 707E ET, with his parents Kyle and Jennifer Fleener. Royal started off his show by moving to the top of his class for Early Spring Bull Calf (March 2017). He then became Champion Bull Calf before winning the overall Grand Champion Mainetainer Bull.

The judges for the Open Beef Show were Brad Winegardner, Lima, Ohio; Todd Herman, Madill, Oklahoma, and Lucas Zeigler Clarenden, Texas. Todd Herman was the judge for the show on Friday.
