Pennsylvania, NYS Nut Growers Plan Joint Meeting

The Pennsylvania Nut Growers Association and the New York Nut Growers Association will hold a joint meeting at Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, Pa., on April 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The meeting is open to the public.
The associations will have talks on commercialization of hazelnuts, urban and forest planting of nuts, crop gleaning, farm succession, and the historic nut tree plantings of John W. Hershey in Downingtown.
There will be demonstrations of grafting in the greenhouse. Oak trees, nut scionwood, and black walnut seednuts will be distributed.
