Freezing Temperatures Spread Across Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania had a good week for field activities with an average of 4 days suitable for field work. Temperatures were reported with a high of 74F, a low of 5F and a state average temperature of 32F.
The week dropped into cold and freezing temperatures, rain was reported in some areas during the week, which limited the amount of field activities.
Overall, apples and vegetable harvest is now complete.
Corn and soybeans continue to be harvested.
Fieldwork activities for the week consisted of spreading manure, seeding, harvesting and putting cover out for the winter months.
